I have no problem with people disagreeing. As long as things are kept civil it's all ok.
But when ignorant and some times frankly stupid people are sending death threats to people and having aggressive protests about something they disagree with it makes me angry.
Sometimes it doesn't seem to matter who is right or what is best, it just matters who is loudest. The loudest often seems to be the most extreme or most ignorant.

I was riding up to Taco Bell(not my idea)when I saw a guy standing on the corner with a sign that said" I never thought I would be in this situation but god humbles. Please help.
This flicked that switch in my head that causes me to write these things.
Dude,I really am sorry that you have to resort to begging. I know it sucks and I wish that I could help you,but I have a problem with people playing the religion card as a way to get sympathy. First of all"God" didn't put you in this position. The fucked up economy did. Also even if "God" did this to you he wasn't teaching you a lesson. He was just being a dick.

Equeleni pointed out that I hadn't made her an Admin. I really thought I had done that a long time ago,so I looked in her account. She was a Moderator,so she pretty much had the same power as an Admin without the title. I went ahead and upgraded her. You know,cause I love her and all that good shit.  |

I was learning a computer language and enjoying it . Then I found out in the very latest version of the language they changed a small part of it (in my noobness I liked the way the changed part was done before). I was so annoyed, I finally find a language I can enjoy and pick up reasonably quickly and they change it so it's more unlikeable and a little more easy to make mistakes with.
Fuckwits.
I'm sure there is some technical reason why they changed it but did they ever stop to think that while that aspect of the language may not be perfect it helps beginners?
I swear if I could I'd make my own damned computer language! |
